We already had our morning street food, really abundant all across Serbia, and were making our way towards a spot on a road viaduct above the Niš Dimitrovgrad mainline. No haste was required because we knew two trains have just passed at Bela Palanka, which left us with at least 90 minutes of leaway.
Our calculations were wrong though, because the trains kept running above the speed limits (which are on the level of 10-20km/h...). While walking up to the bridge we heard the horn of a train we hadn't expected and had to quickly make it to any usable spot, which is the reason why the picture is framed so awkwardly. The rain which had just passed through the area is still very clearly visible in the background,
It was a set of modernised 'Brejlovec' locos of the 753.7 class doubleheading a container train most likely bound for Bulgaria or Turkey. At the front was 753.784. In a few minutes after the picture was taken the train would pass via the station in Bela Palanka.

The ČKD Praha-built locomotive ZSSK 754 083-4 (T478.4), affectionately known as "Brejlovec" ("Goggles"), leads the R 933 passenger service. This train is operating on the route between Vrutky and Zvolen and is seen here crossing the "Na vode" Viaduct in Horná Štubňa

A cinematic visual journey unfolds through this atmospheric series, following the poetry of hot air balloon flight from intimate preparation to dreamlike ascent.
The collection blends tactile close-ups, sweeping aerial views, and emotionally charged human moments into a single narrative of exploration, wonder, and fragile beauty. We move from the concentration of a pilot’s face, the woven texture of baskets, ropes, burners, maps, and compass details, to the soft drama of inflation, launch, drifting over valleys, forests, lakes, cliffs, and distant settlements.
Sparkling particles, mist, dew, smoke, and luminous haze give the images an almost otherworldly quality, while the teal, gold, and muted crimson palette creates a nostalgic yet futuristic mood. The series feels both adventurous and contemplative: a celebration of travel, craftsmanship, atmosphere, and the timeless human desire to rise above the earth and see the world transformed.
At once intimate and epic, the images evoke memory, freedom, silence, discovery, and the emotional grandeur of flight.
