This was taken at the Bronx zoo, this was the perfect shot I could have taken for this Gorilla. I am shocked how a 10 year old DSLR still has the capacity to take such a detailed picture. To give you an idea, I didn't really touch any of the colors, just the lighting.
"Maka" (born 6/20/95) just celebrated his 30th birthday. A silverback Western Lowland Gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla), Maka lives in a bachelor troop with two of his younger brothers at the San Diego Zoo.
Conservation Status: Critically Endangered
