This image captures the ornate and beautifully painted ceiling within the Palace of Versailles, located near Paris, France. The ceiling is adorned with elaborate gold leaf details and intricate frescoes that showcase mythological themes and historic allegories, demonstrating the grandeur of French Baroque art.
Anyone familiar with UK Channel 4's Grand Designs will be familiar with the phrase in the title, often uttered by novice housebuilders with no idea of the trouble heading their way. This is Drumbeg (Highland), which is a long way from - well, anywhere really. Taken on our second summer holiday.
More than usual jiggery-pokery on this image - I've done a sky replacement with an image taken a couple of days later, then I've also done all of the usual Affinity and Topaz dodging and sharpening.
