Aisle 6 and Freezer

There was very little left in Foods for Living. Most of it was aisle of empty shelves with a few things gathered at the ends.

Foods For Living Entrance

On my way to work at the bookstore, I stopped at Foods for Living, which was winding down operations. Sadly, while they weathered a Whole Foods opening next to them, the one-two punch of a Trader Joe's also opening next door was too much and they shut down. I miss them already as nowhere else in town has as good a selection of vegetarian food as they did.
