A wooden chair from Casa Batlló, sculpted by Antoni Gaudí with organic grace. Its heart-shaped backrest holds a delicate floral carving, whispering nature’s rhythm into the room.

I was going through some old photographs today in advance of The Great Impending Migration and found a little book of my paternal grandparent's wedding pictures.
They are some of the only ones to emerge unscathed after my grandmother converted to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. After she "found God" (was he lost? I wasn't aware) she went through all these precious old photos and cut her hands out of the pictures where she was holding a drink or a cigarette or whatever. These photos I found are the only surviving ones from the day of their wedding that weren't mutilated.
