Wer hÀtte gedacht, dass mir bei einem Fotostammtisch die wohl schönste Aufnahme von leuchtenden Nachtwolken (Noctilucent Clouds) gelingt. Die faszinierenden Wolken, die in der MesosphÀre in Höhen von etwa 80 Kilometern entstehen, schimmern in einem intensiven Blau und Silber, wÀhrend die DÀmmerung den Himmel in warmen Orangetönen fÀrbt. Das ruhige Wasser spiegelt die Himmelsfarben und verstÀrkt die friedliche AtmosphÀre. Im Hintergrund sind die Lichter von Kiel zu sehen.
I took this photo this evening facing west near Niederbipp. It captures the currently turbulent weather and a dramatic evening sky, filled with an array of colors and lights.

My photo shows the open star cluster Messier M11, also known as the "Wild Duck Cluster".
While this is just an amateur photo, Iâm quite proud of the amount of detail I was able to capture. Messier 11 (M11) is one of the richest and most densely populated open star clusters in our galaxy, the Milky Way. It contains about 2,900 stars and is located approximately 6,200 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Scutum (the Shield).

Zwar handelt es sich bei diesem Bild nur um eine Amateuraufnahme, dennoch bin ich stolz darauf, wie viele Details ich festhalten konnte. Messier 11 (M11) ist einer der reichsten und dichtesten offenen Sternhaufen in unserer Galaxie, der MilchstraĂe. Er enthĂ€lt etwa 2.900 Sterne und liegt rund 6.200 Lichtjahre von der Erde entfernt im Sternbild Scutum (Schild).
