After some very trying tribulations, the cab window is back in (it was a case of third time lucky). So as we love sweating and cursing, the windscreen is now out...
This has allowed some residual paint on the fibreglass dashboard to be stripped; and the centre bar to be painted grey. New rubber has been sourced and when it all goes back together, it'll be with two brand new windscreen pieces sourced from PSV Glass.
In short it's all starting to come together.

Champagne, crackers and dip
On Saturday of Dragon Con 2015, I began my day with some people-watching at the Hyatt Regency (265 Peachtree St. NE); it's a great place to check out some of the con's many cosplayers and their elaborate costumes. As I was waiting in the queue for a Dragon Con Independent Film Festival screening, I happened to see a couple of cosplayers dressed as characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, including a truly impressive life-size Groot. (Alas, it was difficult for me to capture a good pic with my iPhone since Groot was walking past when I took the photo...)
