On Day 2 of our French Riviera and Adriatic cruise aboard the Celebrity Constellation, Mike and I began our day with breakfast at Blu before disembarking at the port of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Mike ordered his eggs sunny-side-up with a side of sliced ham. We also loved the side veggies the side veggies they served with breakfast, which included fingerling potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus.

Those who have the 2012 Twig the Fairy calendar may think they have seen this photo of Twig the Fairy before.
Well yes and no, you have seen one a lot like it back in March but Twig's eyes were closed as she played her flute and there were three baby ducks and there mother in the photo. But I thought this photo was pretty too even though it was never used so just had to share.

Taken at Freestone Park right here in Gilbert AZ with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera and Canon EF 85mm F/1.2L II USM lens stopped down to F/2.2 to get most of Twig's wings in focus.
Everybody would understand it to be an accident if another vehicle were to careen into it and smash it all to hell, what with conditions being so slippery.

A couple days after it made its hammock, we noticed the caterpillar was back on the floor of its container. Alarmed, I looked in on it, and, after clearing away the dried leaves I'd put in there for it, found that it had indeed progressed, and thankfully not died...
