This exhibit did an extremely poor job of showing Israelis or Jews as holding moderate, reasonable, views, or as wanting peace.
How this got shown at a peace museum - an exhibit that through its misrepresentation of things only serves to fuel the flames of hate, to fuel the tension, to justify the violence - is beyond me.
The fundamental cause of all this violence is Arab/Muslim anti-semitism, the false idea that *all* the land is Palestine, that Israel cannot exist. Oppose that, suppress that, and people will be able to live in peace.
But of course there is this vague idea of "liberation" of Palestine, and the bizarre idea that that is somehow not antisemitic. What does the "liberation of Palestine" look like? What does it mean for the Jewish people? If you're advocating something that compromises the safety and freedom of the Jewish people, then, yeah, what you're advocating is antisemitic.
Always interesting (and frustrating) to see what different people post. So many are just simply calling for peace, for equality among all peoples, without any actual plan. So many others are blaming or accusing the US and Israel, which of course is an approach that will never lead to convincing any of the Islamist extremist groups in the region to actually accept, tolerate, agree to, allowing peace with Jewish freedom.
