This is another image from my recent drop-in to the Jordan Flea market, more properly known as the Prudhomme’s Antique And Vintage Market. The reason I had stopped there was a bit of a traffic snafu was making westbound travel on the Queen Elizabeth Way/QEW, and I decided to get on the North Service Road to get back to Grimsby, Ontario. The property sits on a narrow strip of land squeezed between the QEW and the South shore of Lake Ontario on the West side of Jordan Harbour. On weekends the various vendor stalls offer a wide range of, well, flea market staples, which most people call the junk in the attic, basement or garage, as appropriate. One of the vendor stands was jammed with the priceless treasures the vendor would be offering his/her clientele on the weekend. The thing that caught my eye was a mannequin bust topped with a pink ‘hat’ on which was embroidered ‘Canadian Princess’. - JW
