Berkhof only sold limited numbers of Scania chassis to UK operators in the 1980s, but their fortunes changed in the 1990s when Jonckheere bodies ceased to be available, and they were able to pull in many more orders. Thomas of Tonypandy had been one of their early customers, taking an Eclipse double-decker in 1987, but this Excellence 2000 on a Scania K113 was their first time back for 5 years, and they went on to take a dozen assorted coaches in later years.
This one served them for 8 years, and after a period with another firm local to them it had an 8-year spell in Leicester, with Ausden Clark and Steve Akiens.

The last Paramount 4000 in regular PSV use, freshly out shopped in a tribute livery to my old life in Tamworth. New to Siesta as G705LKW, later becoming RJI6617 with them which it carried with later owners PPH at St Albans, then into preservation. Acquired by myself a week ago (Feb 2024) it will now be able to be seen gracing the roads of south Derbyshire.
Although Timeline's bus operations had been sold on several years previously, split between Arriva and First, a small coach operation remained for some time.
This Scania/Van Hool had been new to Shearings in 1994. Shearings-style livery remains in place, but with Timeline names - although, by now, Shearings themselves were going through their blue phase. Timeline had of course originally been formed to take over Shearings' bus operations, back in the early 1990s.
