Houseboat Lifestyle

Life on the water may not suit everyone . . . particularly if your houseboat is overlooked by high rise condominiums and a busy freeway overpass.

Unique Enclave

Many know the colorful houseboat communities of Sausalito. Less known is the Mission Creek Harbor houseboat community of San Francisco. Located below a towering concrete freeway structure a tiny row of houseboats line Mission Creek Harbor. Next to the shoreline access is a narrow green zone and parking area.

Portal by Scott Holcomb

Portal

My love of travel has taken on a new twist with the discovery of an active wormhole. Through the use of a magnetron control device a portal window opens allowing one to step into an anteroom. There, a panel is available to select a destination and time period. The journey is a blur of light and color, not unlike a psychedelic trip common in this town in the 1960s. Unfortunately, there is no travel insurance for this type of journey due to the many unforeseen risks.
See you on the other side!

First Responder Tribute

Famous Junk Art Sculptor, Patrick Amiot, created this artwork to honor the brave first responders who battled fierce Sonoma wildfires that devastated local forests and communities several years ago. It stands at the entrance of the Graton Fire Department just north of Sebastopol.
First responders from around California, the nation and the world have traveled to Los Angeles to battle the raging infernos that currently threaten forests and communities. They merit honor and respect for their dedication to protect the public.

Infestation

While walking the streets of Chinatown in Westminster London, I came across a shocking sight! A hideous beast was prowling about, terrorizing the poor citizens. Before I sprinted away in a panic, I hesitated for an instant and took this solitary photo as evidence for the authorities. I understand that the district is still on lockdown while they track this dangerous creature . . .
