Lockheed L.1011 TriStar 1 (c/n 193A-1054)
Peach Air
London-Gatwick (LGW/EGKK)
14 February 1998
Founded in 1996, short-lived British charter airline Peach Air operated a pair of Boeing 737s, and three Lockheed TriStars. Included was this former Eastern Air Lines machine, which was delivered in 1973, but quickly sold to Cathay Pacific in 1976. 20 years later it was acquired by Air Atlanta Icelandic as TF-ABH, and leased to Peach Air in May 1997.
TF-ABH was subsequently seen on finals to runway 26L at its homebase, London-Gatwick, sporting Peach Air titles and tail logo and still retaining the basic bare-metal linings of former operator Cathay.
The TriStar was returned to Air Atlanta in late 1998, shortly before Peach Air folded its wings, and was eventually withdrawn from use in April 1999. Parked at Manston, it was broken-up in late 1999, but the parts were shipped to South Korea for preservation, becoming a restaurant in 2000, before being finally scrapped in 2007.

Originally built as an L1011 Tristar 1, this aircraft was delivered to Delta Air Lines as N705DA in Apr-74. It was traded in to Boeing Equipment Holding Corporation in Mar-84 and stored.
The aircraft was converted to L1011 Tristar 50 standard in Oct-85 and sold to American Trans Air in Dec-85. It was re-registered N193AT in Mar-86. It was wet-leased to Aer Lingus between Aug/Nov-89.
After 27 years in service, the aircraft was retired at Victorville, CA, USA in Mar-01. The registration was cancelled in Jul-03.
