A couple sitting on the rocks at the banks of Lake Geneva(Le Léman) overlooking the sunset over Swiss Alps near the Chillon Castle(Château de Chillon).


This spot is at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve, essentially Alpine Rhône valley. Chillon is amongst the most visited medieval castles in Switzerland and Europe and is a Swiss Cultural Property of National Significance.

Chillon Castle
is an island castle located on Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud.
It is situated at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve, which gives access to the Alpine valley of the Rhône.
