CR 7544, a GP10 built as Illinois Central GP9 9037 in June 1954, rests in Lebanon, Ohio on January 22, 2025.
Ironically this engine never served Conrail as it was rebuilt into a GP10 by Illinois Central Gulf before being sold to Paducah & Louisville. It was then sold to Tennessee Central Railway Museum before being acquired by the Cincinnati Scenic Railway.
NKP GP30 901 rests in Lebanon, Ohio on January 22, 2025. 901 was originally built in November of 1962 for the Nickle Plate Road, it also saw service on the Norfolk & Western, Norfolk Southern and the Indiana and Ohio Railway before going to the Lebanon, Mason and Monroe. In the background we catch a glimpse of FLNX 6955.
