Royalty

To coincide with the Coronation of Charles 111 here in the UK on the same day, there was a special prize for best Royal-themed costume at the Portmeirion Steampunk Weekend.
Saturday's first prize was jointly won by Glen and Dean, seen here in this photo, (they also designed and made their costumes).

Springtime

The metrological calendar officially lists Spring as 1st March through to 31st May.
The crocuses are coming through, so too the daffodils and even the sun - so nice to behold with all that is going on in the world at the moment.
Let's dust down our cameras, clean our lenses, get out there and enjoy this magical time of the year for photography.

The crinoline was a steel cage to keep ladies skirts out and date from around 1850, bloomers date back to a similar time when Mrs Amelia Bloomer wore loose baggy trousers, hence nickname of "bloomers" !
