A burned "Welcome to Lynlake" sign on Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue on May 30, 2020. The sign was burned from dumpsters on fire below it after the murder of George Floyd.

Driving westbound I-94/US-12, approaching the sign and exit for the Lyndale Avenue/Hennepin Avenue interchange (Exit 231B).
Not the best of captures, facing direct sunshine. Also, not the easiest of maneuvers getting from the flyover ramp from I-35W North to this exit. But we made it safely, as we headed to the Sculpture Garden.

A “Lyndale Avenue Listening Session” was held by Hennepin County Commissioner Marion Greene at SpringHouse Ministry Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 2, 2019, where community members shared feedback on potential pedestrian safety improvements that could be made along Lyndale Avenue South.
