Location: Hillcrest & Beeson Avenues off Philadelphia Pike, New Castle County, Delaware.

Brandywine Hundred and Claymont Fire Companies responded to this working dwelling fire with a report of subjects trapped. Firefighters attempted to gain entry but were driven back by heat and heavy smoke conditions.

Two young Children died and I posted these photos in Memory of them.

Mack CF-600, 75 foot Aerial Scope, 43rd & Market Street, City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Interesting Civil Defense Siren on the roof of this Station. That particular siren was made by Alerting Communications of America from Minquan, Wi.. it is called an Allertor.

1971 Mack CF-600 Series, CF685FAP-1071, Baker 75 foot Aerial Scope. Lewis Fire Department, DE also operated this model of Mack Aerial Scope in the 1970's. This apparatus was sold to Georgetown, Delaware but is now part of a private collection.
