"Winter, a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every idle hour."
― John Boswell.
A warm memorie of a cold morning.
Have a great new week my friends!

about sadness and darkness in life!

'Still I Rise'
By Maya Angelou
"You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
’Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
’Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise."

Be well my friends!
Snow fell last night. I opened the curtains and ..... what a beautiful sight! When the sun came through the clouds the picture was complete.
Enlarge it for more details.
You even see a man walking his dog along the water, look closely!
Have a warm and sunny weekend my dear friends.
Thank you all so much for your visits, your warm words,
your faves, but most of all your friendship.
We are sending you hugs and love: Beethoven and I ♥

During an early morning walk,
I found this moss between the stones covered with mesh
and a steel frame.
I walked past it and looked inside and then I found many beautiful things, including this beautiful specimen. Made with 1cm macro on my camera.
Please enlarge it to see the fine details!
Have a great weekend my dear friends!
Hugs, Addy ♥ and Beethoven 😻
"Every time I walk through the world, I am awed by what I find. On a winter morning, when it seems too cold and slippery for safe jogging or bicycling, I can still go out and experience the glory of sunlight turning icy branches into strings of sparkling diamonds."
~ Bernie Siegel
Have a delicate weekend my dear friends.
Hugs by me and my biggest fan: Beethoven

position *112. I am winters happy! ;-)
“With sunrise, yesterday's worries fade into morning mist.”
This morning I saw the sunrise red so I hurried to the creek nearby. When I arrived, the color was already orange, with a lot of mist. What a beautiful day this is going to be; an early winters day with sun!
This image is straight from my IPone, no changes.
It was difficult to focus though.
Be well my dear friends! Hugs and love to you by me ♥

The way we were.
Today I found an small film, old scratched slide, from the winter of 1971 in Canada.
I took a picture of this slide with a macro camera and this is the result. No texture, just straight from the slide.
We had just bought a new Austin Mini and we were going for a ride. At that time I was pregnant with my son ♱ Brian.
I have some more to show you..... later
Little Beethoven 8 months, enjoying outside! Curious in the sun!
Happy weekend dear friends for all your visits last days.
Hugs by me and Beethoven !
