Une journée en famille à Madeire, difficile de prendre des photos avec sa petite qui court partout mais heureusement papi et mamie sont là et j'ai pu admirer le pestac, comme dirait ma fille.

The **Dead Sea** is a salt lake located between **Israel**, the **West Bank**, and **Jordan**. It is one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world, with a salt concentration of about **34%**, which is nearly ten times saltier than the ocean.
Because of its high salt content, very few plants or animals can survive in its waters, which is why it is called the "Dead Sea." However, certain microorganisms can live there.
The surface of the Dead Sea is about **430 meters (1,410 feet) below sea level**, making it the **lowest exposed point on Earth**. Its mineral-rich water and mud are believed to have therapeutic benefits and attract many visitors.
The Dead Sea is shrinking because less water from the Jordan River flows into it, mainly due to water diversion for agriculture and human use, along with evaporation. This has led to environmental concerns, including the formation of sinkholes around its shores.
Despite these challenges, the Dead Sea remains an important natural wonder, known for its unique environment, historical significance, and health tourism.
