Reeve Burgess launched their 'Reebur' body on the Bedford CF and Ford Transit chassis in the late 1970s, and Keith Meynell brought this one along from his KM Coaches fleet near Barnsley. The Transit-based ones had a longer 'snout' to accommodate the engine, whereas the CFs had a smoother front profile, meaning that the Transits always looked a bit more overbodied.
Saying that, they were all quite underpowered, whichever chassis they had under them, as it was a lot more weight to carry than the usual 16-seat Dormobile parcel van conversions, against which they were competing. They were far nicer from a passenger's perspective, though, and you got more time to admire the scenery through the large windows as you crawled up anything resembling an incline !
KM took a second one later in 1978, but neither stayed around for long, this one being sold at its second birthday, and Mercedes Benz took over as the midicoach of choice.
