New Haven Railroad westbound standard heavyweight 6 car round roof MUT at the station platform in Stamford, Connecticut, mid 1950's. MUT trailer 4264 is bringing up the end of the train, and it was built by Osgood-Bradley (Pullman) in 1926. These round roof commuter MUT's feature 2-3 seating. It appears that two employees are standing at the right or east end of the platform. On this winter day it appears that the snow is old by the dirt, oil and grease built up in it along the tracks. Really do like the old hairpin or paper clip fence that seperates the express tracks from the platform tracks. The very distinctive New Haven Railroad's triangular catenary presents itself well in this photo. If you wish to see more photo detail, just click on the image one or two times and it will enlarge.
