On the narrow lane running south from the village of Elterwater towards Colwith - eventually reaching the A593 road for Coniston.
Been away to Somerset for the weekend and this was part of the view from the garden of the house we stayed at. Englands green countryside at its very best!

Heading from Old Scotch Road, eastwards to the community of Killington.
A very narrow lane, squeezed between parallel hedgerows, with few passing places, - awkward if meeting another vehicles hailing from the opposite direction.
The view from beside Springs Wood stretches as far as Wild Boar Fell, the table like summit in the distance.
A verry narrow lane, squeezed in between tall parallel hedgerows. Very few passing places on here, so meeting another vehicle head on, could pose a problem.
It eventually reaches the B6256.

Quiet narrow lane to be found in the Wistow Lordship, north of Selby
Another very narrow lane in Stamford, Lincolnshire. It has many small shops down it as well! I hope their office and store furniture and fittings came in flat-packs!
Incidentally, Flickr autocorrect didn’t like the word ‘Cheyne’ very much insisting that ‘ Cheyenne’ was much better!
