This is for Awareness of Self theme "national attire".
I really wanted to participate, but unfortunately, I didn't have anything to wear. So I found this old photo of my mom wearing a traditional wedding dress, I believe it is from the island of Skopelos. She had put it on to take a photo with it when we were vacationing there. She told me it took hours for the ladies to put it on her! There were very many layers underneath (as you can tell from the way it is bulging).
I wish you could see it in more details, because it is very pretty. Viewing large would help a bit.
