Elk bull on the move, taken during the rut last year, RMNP, CO
a very short sighting a few days ago.
Am posting this bird as an Icterine Warbler ( Hippolais icterina / Spotvogel ) , a species that is not uncommon here in the right habitats but it is definitely difficult to photograph.
However possibly this is a Melodious Warbler ( Hippolais polyglotta / Orpheusspotvogel ), a species from Southern Europe that is expanding its range in northerly direction but it still is extremely uncommon here.
Unfortunately I had no view from the side
