William Bradford sailed on the Mayflower in 1620. He became the first governor of Plymouth Colony in 1621. He died in 1657.

This is the grave of Major William Bradford (William Bradford IV or William Bradford the Younger).
He lived from June 16, 1624 to February 20, 1703. He was Governor William Bradford's second child - the first born in the New World.
He is buried in the Burial Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, near the grave of his father (the obelisk to the left of the marker).
