Mardy Broks took over this Dutch Treats store in 2022 on Holland Street East in Bradford. We take a drive every now and then to stock up on koek, speculaas, Conimex Indonesian spice packages for nasi- and bami goreng. They always have Friese nagelkaas (with cloves and cumin) and "Fryske ljirre", smoked horsemeat! Candy in the form of sweet Liquorice and some zoute "dropkes".
This strip mall is in front of the City of Markham planning committee to be re-developed by the owner. The owner wants to put up four residential buildings on a two story platform with heights of 9, 10, 12, and 24 storey buildings with 723 apartments and underground parking for 904 vehicles.
