1965 of brown.

Holy shit this is the former headquarters of First Citizens Bank, which a week prior to my visit had purchased, with huge help from the FDIC, the Silicon Valley Bank following that bank's collapse.

Verily the building (233 Fayetteville St) was built in 1965 for North Carolina National Bank, which moved out in 1985; First Citizens Bank moved in sometime after 1990.

Per Goolge Streeeview [sic], a remodeling project sometime between August 2019 and August 2021 resulted in the bands of windows on the upper floors of the building's front (left). Prior to the remodeling, that portion of the building had no windows. Holy shit!
