Here was somebody's 1981 dream-come-true, in fancy Groesbeck.

Garage and house were united by a gated fence. "I remember we were dancing along to the tubular bells of Blondie's 'Rapture' as we painted everything putty-colored."

-----------------------

In Lansing Charter Township, Michigan, on October 29th, 2022, was a house (built in 1981, according to Lansing Township records at bsaonline.com) at the northwest corner of Marguerite Avenue and North Magnolia Avenue, in the Groesbeck neighborhood.

1958 ranch-style lifestyle.

Whether the word "ranch" is being applied to a livestock grazing operation, a salad dressing, a brothel, or a one-story house, it reminds us every time: U.S. anglophones are driven to find the one word that means everything, the perfect homonym, in aversion to tyrannies of one-concept-per-word.

A MetroPCS store in its adorbable little building.

I'll always call it MetroPCS no matter how many times they change the name because I can't help it.

The building is from the year 2000, wow, and was formerly an Avis car rental agency, wow wow wow.

Do you love that Nissan Altima from model years 2013-2018. Why, it is nearly as large as the building it is parked in front of!

A rare '33!

Buildings erected in the U.S. in 1933 are rare because of you-know-why, but here was one.

Out front we have bricks painted dark yellow, plus beige trim, plus phony shutters in white, plus a doorway in wacky light blue. In back are rusticated concrete blocks, painted dark pink.

A Prius of model year '04-'09 is blue and a dumpster is brown.
