Insulation-stuffed windows of 1950 commercial building in Florida.

Wow I would have guessed, "Nineteen forties," but, no, the building is from 1950. Huh!

I wish I could park my damn car here, I get so sick of looking for places to park.

Scholar's Study by Frank Kehren

Scholar's Study

Scholar's Study, Lan Su Chinese Garden, Chinatown, Portland, Oregon

Lan Su was built by artisans from Suzhou and is the most authentic chinese garden outside of China.
The study was a refuge, a place of comfort where the men of the family wrote poetry, practiced calligraphy, read, admired collections, entertained fellow scholars and took naps. Everything necessary was kept at hand along with reminders of the life aspired to live. Furniture was practical, but also served as an opportunity to display wealth.
