De 1748 heeft op 5 januari 2002 bijna de spoorbrug over de Maas bij Buggenum bereikt met trein 2523 (Den Haag Centraal-Heerlen). Met zo'n dun laagje sneeuw zal er wel geen vertraging ontstaan zijn.
Driveway to the Bouvigne estate near the Dutch city of Breda on a sunny autumn morning. The Bouvigne house dates back to the 15th century. Since then it has been renovated and restored many times. Since 1972 it has been owned by the Brabantse Delta Water Board. The castle also serves as an official wedding location for the Municipality of Breda.
Oprijlaan naar het landgoed Bouvigne ten zuiden van Breda op een zonnige herfstochtend. Het huis Bouvigne dateert uit de 15e eeuw. Sindsdien is het vaak verbouwd en gerestaureerd. Sinds 1972 is het eigendom van Waterschap Brabantse Delta. Het kasteel fungeert ook als officiële trouwlocatie van de Gemeente Breda.

Une grande allée, de beaux arbres, un ciel d'un bleu foncé très accrocheur cela donne un jolie cliché. Qui pourtant jouxte un des axes routiers vendéens des plus animés et ce toute la semaine même hors vacance !

So, after having waited for the bride for quite some time, I crossed the main road (the A4135) running through the village to see the other part of Beverston. It is a tiny Cotswold village: according to the 2011 census there were only 129 inhabitants!

My last photo of Hodges Barn. It's the back and the side of the manor house, the house that was once a dovecote!
I like this photo because of the two gentlemen walking down the drive: they look so English to me.
A high-class 'back garden' at Hodges Barn manor: this is what the owners see from the back of the house: steps with a small statue of a lion, flowers, a lawn, topiary (the bush cut in a special shape) and trees.
Zojuist begonnen aan de klim naar de IJselbrug bij Westervoort, vanuit Arnhem, komt E-Loc 1609 met EC 27 "Frans Hals" , naar München voorbij.
Op station Emmerich zal gewisseld worden van loc en neemt de Deutsche Bahn de trein over.
