On the left of the photo is Preserved Crosville Cymru, EOG207, C207GTU, a 'DP' seated ECW bodied Leyland Olympian ONLXB/1R. New to Crosville(EOG207), in 10/1985, it was one of the many of the type supplied to then National Bus Company operators for their 'Express' services with this one being restored in Crosville Cymru 'Coastliner' livery for services along the North Wales coast. Alongside is John Fishwick & Sons, Leyland, 13, P414KSX, an Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian YN2RV18Z4. This was new to Lothian Regional Transport, the Edinburgh based arms-length operated municipal operator, in 09/1996 and numbered 414. The Volvo Olympian was the successor to the Leyland Olympian. John Fishwick & Sons, the once well respected Leyland based operator ceased trading on 24/10/2015 after entering administration.
