The Flickr Peoplephotography Image Generatr

I saw Chelcia and her boyfriend Tom (see my previous stranger) walking in front of me in Nottingham. I quickened my pace and caught up with them and introduced my stranger project to them. Both agreed to being photographed without giving it a second thought.

I wanted to make Chelcia’s beautiful pink hair standout in the photograph, so we headed up the road a little way to where I knew there was a black wall we could use for a background. The wall was in the shade so the soft light was easy to work with. The only problem was the wind which kept blowing Chelcia’s hair to the side. I tried to time my shots to when the wind was at its weakest.

Chelcia is employed as a dog groomer and told me Cockapoos are the hardest breed to work with. In her spare time Chelcia likes to relax and do absolutely nothing other than watch TV.

Chelcia’s guilty pleasure is watching trash (reality) TV.

What one word would Chelcia use to describe herself? “Stylish,” was her answer.

If I could grant Chelcia a wish it would be to own her own dog grooming business.

I met Tom and his girlfriend Chelcia (see my next stranger) in Nottingham. Both were quick to say yes to being photographed for my stranger project. We moved up the street a little way looking for suitable backgrounds. A metal door seemed to be an idea choice for Tom. We were also out of the sunlight so taking Tom’s portrait was as straight-forward as you’d want it to be.

Tom has been working in support care for the deaf and disabled for the last sixteen years. In his spare time Tom likes to play video games, mainly anima and fantasy, he then said anything nerdy really.

Going by his previous comment I wasn’t surprised when I asked Tom to describe himself in one word and he said nerdy.

If Tom could meet his younger self what words of advice would he pass on? “Keep doing what you’re doing,” he said.

If I could grant Tom a wish what would it be? “To live in the middle of nowhere,” he replied.
