Even though we are in the middle of Winter and the days and nights have been cold, I still have a few flowers in the garden. I brought this Geranium home as a cutting around 10 years ago and even though I thought it had died a couple of times, it keeps on just popping up in the garden. I love the colour.
My hands are still quite painful. The specialist has put me on another medication to take along with Methotrexate and I am to go back to see him in two weeks. I hate taking so much medication especially those that can have such bad side effects, but I am desperate to be free of pain.

This is my photo for the challenge 52 in 2014. We are allowed to add up to 2 photos per week and I will try to do this so I am finished before we visit South Africa in August as internet access can be a bit iffy in some of the places we will be staying.
I think I will use this pretty flower to wish everyone Happy Valentine's Day.
Beachy Head is a chalk headland in Southern England, close to the town of Eastbourne in the county of East Sussex, immediately east of the Seven Sisters. Beachy Head is located within the administrative area of Eastbourne Borough Council which owns the land. The cliff there is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres (531 ft) above sea level. The peak allows views of the south east coast from Dungeness in the east, to Selsey Bill in the west. Its height has also made it one of the most notorious suicide spots in the world. We were told this on our first visit in 2011 and on that day there was even a van parked there to give counselling to those who felt so desperate that they felt they had to end their life.

We had a lovely sunny day today, but I was busy all day so no chance of flower photos - this is one taken in March.

I didn't see many Teddy Bear bees this Summer and when I did, they were too fast for photos. Here is one from a while back.
I am babysitting four of my grandchildren tonight. Peter is away for a few days and I usually have them over for a night. That way they only have me telling them "go to sleep" and not both of us - Peter gets a little carried away LOL.
