Dzisiejszy dzień kursowania Krakowskiej Linii Muzealnej upłynął niestety pod znakiem awarii, z czterech autobusów specjalnej linii 522 zepsuły się dwa, a na linii 0 po trzech kursach z powodu awarii nie został wykonany kurs czwarty a na piąty wyjechał skład zastępczy - widoczny na zdjęciu.


Today's day of operation of the Krakow Museum Line was unfortunately marked by a breakdown, two of the four buses of the special line 522 broke down, and on line 0, after three runs, the fourth run was not carried out due to a breakdown, and a replacement train was deployed for the fifth run - visible in the photo.

The day after tomorrow there will be a big bus parade, and yesterday and today a historic tram promoting the event took to the streets of central Krakow again.

Na skrzyżowaniu pod Pocztą Główną, kiedyś, przed laty tramwaje jeździły też na wprost - w ulicę Sienną, do Małego Rynku i Rynku Głównego. Przez dziesięć lat, od 1902 do 1912 roku, były to tramwaje wąskotorowe, od 1913 roku do 27 czerwca 1952 normalnotorowe.

At the intersection under the Main Post Office, once, years ago, trams also ran straight ahead - onto Sienna Street, to Mały Rynek and Rynek Główny. For ten years, from 1902 to 1912, these were narrow-gauge trams, from 1913 to June 27, 1952, standard-gauge trams.

Chłodna pogoda ostatnich dni jednak nie zatrzymała wegetacji roślin i już się zazieleniło. Tylko jeszcze deszczu by potrzeba.

W tamtym czasie był to bodaj najgorszy, jeśli chodzi o stan torów, odcinek krakowskiej sieci tramwajowej w centrum miasta. Był to odcinek którego poprzedni remont był przeprowadzony jeszcze przed 1988 rokiem, czyli za komuny. A wykrzywienie szyn nie jest jakoś specjalnie spotęgowane długą ogniskową.

It was a section whose previous renovation was carried out before 1988, i.e. during the communist era. And the curvature of the rails is not particularly amplified by the long focal length.

W tamtym czasie był to bodaj najgorszy, jeśli chodzi o stan torów, odcinek krakowskiej sieci tramwajowej w centrum miasta. Był to odcinek którego poprzedni remont był przeprowadzony jeszcze przed 1988 rokiem, czyli za komuny. A wykrzywienie szyn nie jest jakoś specjalnie spotęgowane długą ogniskową.

Stare Miasto, ścisłe centrum Krakowa. I niewykluczone że kolejny kadr który prędzej czy później przejdzie do historii - na ten jednopiętrowy budynek w tle są już bowiem zakusy by go wyburzyć i zastąpić nowym, kilkupiętrowym.

The Old Town, the very center of Krakow. And it is possible that another shot that will sooner or later go down in history - there are already attempts to demolish this one-story building in the background and replace it with a new, multi-story one.

Połowa września, już słońce niżej na horyzoncie, już cienie na ulicach kładą się znacznie wcześniej.

Mid-September, the sun is lower on the horizon, the shadows on the streets are already appearing much earlier.

Niecały tydzień został do 1. listopada, czyli dnia w którym w Polsce tradycyjnie odwiedza się cmentarze, wspomina bliskich już między nami nieobecnych. Ale większy ruch na cmentarzach zaczyna się wcześniej, więc już w ostatni weekend października uruchamiane są pierwsze specjalne linie tramwajowe i autobusowe.

Less than a week remains until November 1, the day when traditionally in Poland we visit cemeteries and remember loved ones who are no longer among us. But more traffic in cemeteries starts earlier, so the first special tram and bus lines are launched already on the last weekend of October.
