2 days in Nanaimo and we ate, in restaurants. No kidding you say?
One evening we dined at La Stella Trattoria. pizza and pasta are their speciality.
The restaurant has a selection of salads including this tomato one - local fresh tomatoes, fior di latte, basil and finished with Vancouver Island sea salt and aged balsamic.
The pizza and pasta were good but this tomato salad got the gold star.
Our second night in Morelia we went for pizza at Toscana Cocina Italiana, Bartolomé de Las Casas 586.
Their tomato, mushroom, spinach salad was huge and tasty.
Breaking a cardinal rule or some other sin, don't post photos of restaurant food. Oops.

After a hot morning slog in UNESCO Archaeological Site of Olympia we went for lunch at Mythos Taverna in downtown Archea Olympia.

We were looking for a plate of moussaka, because we are in Greece.
Second to none, Mythos moussaka was the best we ate.
Each cruise ship stop in Greece we went for moussaka. It was so good at Mythos, when the ship docked in Katakolo again on 24 May, we took the train to Olympia just to have another feed of Mythos moussaka.
Not to be forgotten, tzatziki in Greece is unlike anything we get at home, its so thick and oh so tasty and olives, so sweet and flavourful.
Dessert at Italian restaurant Nonna in Colonia Condesa was a large piece of Tiramisú (shared).
