An RAF Dakota transport aircraft, with the engine cowlings removed for maintenance at the Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington near York, UK. Photographed a few weeks ago on 2001 expiry date Ilford FP4+ 125 ASA b&w negative film using a Nikon F301 35mm SLR. The film was hand-processed at native 125 ASA using Ilford Ilfotec DD-X developer. The resulting negatives were scanned using a Plustek 8200AI 35mm film scanner to DNG raw files, which were processed using Capture One Pro 23.

Description: In 1944 Liberator was carrying Australian and U.S. servicemen to Brisbane for their leave. It overshot Runway 33 at Rockhampton Airfield and crashed. All on board were killed. They are buried in the Rockhampton War Cemetery.
