No you won't see me tomorrow, and no I won't watch tonight. by Tim Kiser

No you won't see me tomorrow, and no I won't watch tonight.

Tonight I'll glance at the weather forecast upon the worldwide web instead of listening to a spokesmodel talk about it for several minutes. Tomorrow I'll prepare my own food at home.

The beloved old marquee of the Oak Street Cinema in Minneapolis. by Tim Kiser

The beloved old marquee of the Oak Street Cinema in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis is the easternmost city of the Wild West!, I saw a scrawny coyote chasing a tumbleweed through the closed-off lanes of Oak Street but I wasn't able to dig my camera out of my satchel in time. And then a clamour of wind came up that blasted me with a faceful of grit, one of the pieces of which I think scratched one of my corneæ.

Some years back I saw several movies' worth of a Rainer Werner Fassbinder film festival at the Oak Street Cinema, and I wish sometime that those old movies would get shown again at whichever of the cinemæ in town.

Famous and beloved "United Crushers" message of old old old Archer Daniels Midland elevator.

Ha ha I think "Minnehaha Towing" looks like maybe it kind of likes the "United Crushers"!

Minnehaha Towing wishes it knew more about the United Crushers, it gazes up curiously and admiringly to the top of the silo.

The memorable '10-'11 winter, remainder of Minneapolis snowpack as of May the 3rd. by Tim Kiser

The memorable '10-'11 winter, remainder of Minneapolis snowpack as of May the 3rd.

The architecturally noticeable Oak Street Parking Ramp on the campus of the University of Minnesota was erected in 1974, and if anybody has been keeping track year-to-year of which day the snowpack disappears from its western face, they haven't been putting it onto the internet anyplace that I can find. Maybe somebody ought to?

Charming rentals my ass! by Tim Kiser

Charming rentals my ass!

Off-campus student apts! The name of the complex is "Jefferson at Berry" but I prefer to call it White Cliffs My Ass.

I hope drunken students won't fall from those balconies but there seems like there's always a chance of that happening whenever you get near college campuses doesn't there.

Is that arrangement of snowy barricades and planters an example of "traffic-calming"!!
