Hello all out there!
This is an old image of Curry Curry and me, it was always a bundle to take a picture of Curry when she was alive, since well, she was a very active cat, I remember all those blurry images I have of her, since she was always on the move, planning new mischiefs, like climbing the bean jar until it smashed in to a mix of shards and beans…
Sadly she passed away a few years ago, but her son Chili is alive and lives with my plastic daughter’s family in Denmark…
But enough feline talk :) I might do some more some other day!
My real intent was to write some about me, since it has been ages since I made a small presentation about me… so I will do a small backstory on me…
Here it comes!
Hello I am Danny!
I was born 1976 in Malmö, Sweden, I grew up mostly in Sweden and in parchally in Copenhagen, Denmark. yes I have traveled a lot on boat and train between Denmark and Sweden and at least once a year to the U.K where I hold one of my two citizenships most often to Skegness (or Skeggy) to visit my family but sometimes if we were lucky to London…
My mother is Swedish and comes from Blekinge in Sweden, my paternal side of the family is very mixed, I guess since it was mostly a circus family and include nationalities of many different sorts, my granny’s father was born in Belgium and was Jewish, but some of his siblings was born in Germany and hungary or something, I don’t think nationality was a big thing for them :) only one year before his death he became nationalized as a British citizen and my granny was raised a catholic (her mothers faith) so he was probably not a religious jew…
I have started to do a bit of genealogy, at first I thought it would be hard to find the circus part of my family, but actually it was easier than I thought, most lines have already been found despite it spanning several different countries… for the most parts it has been easy to track them in to the early 1820’s or so… but there is probably a lot more to find…
But enough about ancient relatives…
I grew up with both my parents, who divorced when I was 4-5 then I have alternated between living with both my parents a different times, sometimes with my sister junior sibling Diana and an unrelated senior bonus brother…
Daycare and school was a nightmare, I was thrown out of kindergarten and later school, since I was very violent and troubled as a child, quite the opposite of this peaceful hippie I turned into in my teens…
well people change I guess??? I did anyhow! But I went to a special school for some years for children with different issues not compatible with normal school…
In my teens I moved back into the city after living one year in a villa village at an rural area in the countryside, I was not a rural person I hated :) I am just a city girl :)
Then my father moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where my aunt and cousins already lived and whom I grew up with, I went to school in Sweden, but was in Denmark every second weekend and most of summer…
…in Sweden I grew up in an area called Holma that at the time was often called: ”a problematic area” that was even more ethnically mixed than the rest of Malmö (which is also very ethnically mixed)
…my early friends came from all over the world such as (to name a few) Ethiopia, Yugoslavia, Norway, Somalia, Lebanon and so on…
…at that time my experience was that there was no divide in any way between those of Swedish descent and those from a spectrum of cultures from around the world…
…at Kindergarten (before I was thrown out) we learned each other's different customs, even tried Somali bread food and whatever food from ,whatever country :) We painted each other's flags and sang La Cocaracha (did I spell it right?)
In the 90s my trips to England stopped, I think the last time I was in the U.K. Was about 1992-1994
In my Post teens, I studied at many schools (and amassed loads of debt) I studied things like, society, art, desktop design, society and gender science… but I was always very bad at studying, I would often sit hungover in school zipping a cup of coffee, just by a hair staying above the waterline from being thrown out of school…
…yes from the early 2000 party was my life, drugs too, but I only bought drugs a couple of times since I didn’t want to support the illegal market… but really alcohol was my drug… I would frequent any kind of pub or club favoring the subculture clubs and the gay scene and
…in the 2010’s I cleaned up a bit worked as many times before with sanitation, cleaning hotels, the starting to work in Denmark (better wages than Sweden and nices environment)
…then I married and we moved to Vienna, I fell in love at first . Me and my wife lived there for a couple of years. I was trying to make it as a painter, but otherwise I was a housewife…
…troubles in marriage and life started me drinking even more than before, I mean I started the morning by drinking my hidden alcohol and ended the night passing out by drunkenness…
…more than 10 years from now I was supposed to go to a friend's 50 year celebration party, going from Vienna to Malmö, I never returned to Vienna and my wife and I divorced, we are really good friends now…
…since that party I been living in Sweden again, I met my mum in person for the first time in many years and she had a room, that room is where I work and sleep now, I have had some short cleaning jobs, but the last couple of years I have been living on selling art and collectables (mainly toys) online at auctions…
Then came the pandemic, and I mean, we got totally isolated and Still we are kind of isolated, mum is a person at risk and we still have some pandemic rules left!!!
Still my dreams of leaving Sweden id still there, I don’t feel at home in Sweden, but right now I feel less and less certain about moving somewhere, when hate, extremism parties and is almost all over, even here in Sweden we have a rightwing party supporting the government…
Well I won't go down that lane right now! …so this was a short summary of my life up to now!
Peace and Noise!

The hermitage of San Román de Escalante in Cantabria (Spain), is a Romanesque building from the 12th and 13th centuries, with a very austere doorway like the entire exterior, which is made of masonry.
