QEHB and Old Joe from Grove Park, Harborne by ell brown

QEHB and Old Joe from Grove Park, Harborne

Late winter into early spring, getting warmer, it's sunny, and the crocuses and daffodils are coming up.

Popped to Grove Park in Harborne off Harborne Park Road near the 11A and 11C bus route for a look.

View of Old Joe at the University of Birmingham (to the far right of here in Edgbaston).

We got the lift up to the 4th floor, where we went into a room to take photos of the view (they had hired the room).

The library opened in 2016.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham from University Station

A quick visit to University Station. I took the Worcester & Birmingham Canal towpath exit, then got the lift up to bridge level. And exited to the University of Birmingham campus, this time via the disabled access ramp.

Workers doing finishing touches on the steps, and other areas still to be finished off by the looks of it.

Daffodils out on the campus.

Popped to Selly Oak Station on a Sunday afternoon for a one way journey to Birmingham New Street.

The day after the last train strike ended.

Some Class 323's were going a bit slow.

The one I got would terminated at Birmingham New Street.

Designer Bathrooms by Michael has moved out of the old building (I think it's getting demolished).

Between King Edward VI Camp Hill Schools.

Saw some private house or lodge (unable to get that from Cartland Road).

Not much to see from Pineapple Road itself other than the old building hoarded.
