Alas, Siberian squill is invasive. But it's pretty, like bluebells in England.
Prunings from palm trees along a footpath between Elounda and Spinalonga Peninsula were thrown into a disused salina and burned. The resulting ash attracted about half a dozen red admirals that looked to be taking minerals. Strangely, no other species were participating.
