Just a brief update as to what is happening. My grandson got the new computer online from iBuyPower and everything went smoothly…I WISH! It ran nicely for about six hours before I received the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). I hoped that it was just an anomaly, but the problems persisted until I finally disconnected the machine last night and mailed it back to iBuyPower. Will add that their tech support leaves MUCH TO BE DESIRED and that they were absolutely no help in solving the problem.
I managed to wrestle the HUGE box to UPS this morning and sent it back. The other issue was that I was unable to get my old computer connected last night, but my grandson was able to diagnose my failed attempt and just left me with a way to get back online.
I made my way to Micro Center, al locate computer supply house and they are building me another computer which did cost me a bit more, but at least they are a local company that is nearby in case I have any issues. Only time will tell but am hoping that the new machine fires right up and functions flawlessly forever.
The photos here are for reference but is does show a local fisherman catching a nice sized Redfish out of the bayou. Just as a footnote, he is a transplant to our area from Canada and Rene thoroughly enjoys it here. He said that he wouldn’t be fishing in Canada at this time of the year.
It's been a stressful few days and am not certain when I will return to Flickr and resume normal comments. I wanted to leave the comments off but get chastised for doing that and will reluctantly leave them on. There is absolutely no reason to comment, but I did want to keep everyone up to date.
Photo taken on Horsepen Bayou and he did release the fish.
