This imaginary brochure shows a real-life interceptor project (the Republic AP-75). However, it was never built, and probably never received a name, but I thought "Thunderbird" to be extremely fitting, considering Republic's habit of using names beginning by "Thunder..." The logo and lettering were snatched from genuine period documents. The AP-75 in the image was taken from a real Republic desktop model.

This Seabee was built in May 1947 and shipped from the US to Italy by container ship in summer 1973. In November 1973, it had its first flight in Europe. For sale at $22,500 from Munich Airport, when Mr. Dewey moved back to the USA in June 1975. Sold to Sweden as SE-ERT. (Source: www.seabee.info)
