Holy shit the abandoned textile mill was built in 1921. Holy shit holy shit!

In Danville, Virginia, on May 31st, 2022, the Dan River as viewed off the Danville Riverwalk Trail west of Main Street.

The Dan River flows to the Roanoke River, which flows to Albemarle Sound on the Atlantic coast.

There is Dan River Mill No. 8, a/k/a the White Mill, built 1920-1921, 10000095 on the National Register of Historic Places.

In Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on June 30th, 2019, the north bank of Loyalhanna Creek as viewed from the east side of a bridge on Ligonier Street.

Loyalhanna Creek flows to the Kiskiminetas River, which flows to the Allegheny River, which flows to the Ohio River. The creek was altered by a "channel enlargement" project in Latrobe by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1950.

Yes yes I know the reason the creek is funny-looking is that it was subjected to a "channel enlargement" project by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1950.
