Am 12.10.2010, als es die Linie 9 vom Doku-Zentrum nach Thon noch gab, befuhr Wagen 1010 die Schultheißallee auf dem Weg nach Thon. Damals war der Nordast der Linie 9 über den Rathenauplatz, der Pirckheimer Str., dem Friedrich-Ebert-Platz und Thon noch in Betrieb. Mittlerweile wird diese Strecke nur noch außerplanmäßig für Fahrschulfahrten oder als Umleitungsstrecke genutzt.
Triebwagen 1006 hat sein Ziel als Linie 9 zum Doku-Zentrum bald erreicht als er in die Haltestelle Luitpoldhain einfährt.
