Democracy Minister Rushanara Ali is planning a "series of new measures" to protect against foreign political interference.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk, now adviser to US President Donald Trump, caused some concern in the UK when it was reported he could donate as much as £78m ($100m) to Reform UK through a UK branch of his social media company X.

A public petition to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to donate to UK political parties was signed by more than 142,000 people, sparking a debate by MPs.

Washed out.

Stormy days at the sea side.

washed out, a term that normally refers to over exposure, leading to poor colour saturation and poor contrast.

On this day it refers to the risk of being "washed out to sea".

Wonderful weather by Neil. Moralee

Wonderful weather

I had a couple of hours spare today so off to the sea-side, (Sidmouth in Devon UK). As you can see the weather was less than brilliant.

So here is the question, how do you stop the rain and spray getting on the lens? It was far too windy for an umbrella.

I had a towel and a lens cloth and was drying the front element every shot, but still you can see rain spots if you look close.

Any ideas ?
