The moon, glowing softly in the night, feels like it has found shelter, while the branches stretch out as if to cradle it tenderly. The tree, often seen as grounded and lifeless in winter, appears alive, reaching toward the moon as if embracing a long-lost companion. This interplay of light and shadow, stillness and movement, creates a quiet yet profound story of connection, safety, and belonging.
Taken in the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. The park is a very interesting place to visit, inexpensive with a good variety of wildlife to see. The coolest being the fishbowl where you are in a glass enclosure with a multitude of fish and Manatees swimming around you. It is well worth the small price of admission.
LMS Jubilee class No. 45596 'Bahamas' climbs the 1/150 gradient through The New Forest towards Beaulieu Road station, with the Railway Touring Company's 'Dorset Coast Express' London Victoria-Weymouth.
With a scheduled water stop at Beaulieu Road station, the engine was slowing coasting towards me, hence very little exhaust.
