The west elevation of the McLean County Courthouse is shown facing west in the late afternoon, in filtered sunlight. by Tim Kiser

The west elevation of the McLean County Courthouse is shown facing west in the late afternoon, in filtered sunlight.

The McLean County Courthouse was built in 1976, but except for the brick veneer on the first level, it looks ten or twenty years older than that.

The top floors were added in 1990, but they didn't make the building look any newer.

A visit to the B.D.M.I. Co.

Ah 1908: Everytime I see the numbers I instantly recall the familiar tunes of my favorite hit songs from that year, such as "Mother Hasn't Spoken to Father Since" and "All She Gets From the Iceman is Ice." Ugh but then they end up stuck in my head!, for days sometimes it seems like.

See these nice senior apartments, built in the year 2010. That retaining wall is amazing.

It must be nice for them to spend their retirement living in those nice apartments. I hope none of the residents got their money by mistreating other people!, by underpaying people for their labors!

I really loved these weeds covered in concrete dust, at this siltfence at this dirtpile at this lineup of arborvitaes.

Really really loved them wink wink. For instance, I got on my hands and knees and sniffed their dust and gave them a kiss.
