Strukturpaste und Goldfarbe auf Ultramarin. Phönix aus dem Feuer aufsteigend, ein symbolträchtiges Geschenk für meinen Großvater, der nicht mehr lange zu leben hatte.
Ein unvergesslicher Besuch in der neuen Pinakothek. Van Gogh, meine Inspiration. Mit Akribie und zeitweiser Vernachlässigung brauchten die zwei 20x20 Leinwände fast zwei Jahre bis Fertigstellung. An einigen Stellen ist Strukturpaste eingearbeitet.
Tumis sind rituelle Messer der Inka, u.A. für Trepanationen. Diese Collage mit Strukturpaste und Goldfarbe auf Ultramarin war der Beginn meiner "Gold-Blau Phase".
