After a few test rides on different hybrids, this is the one I decided on. My new bike, a Trek FX2 Disc in Satin Viper Red. 2x9, Shimano shifters and derailleurs, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes

Kind of proud on how this turned out ;) Nice and smooth and yes: I started at the top.
My little randonneur project is coming along nicely! Tucked away all the cables and finally applied the handlebar tape.
Ok, still need to add the chain, cut the shifter cables and get other (longer) fender stays to make room for the 38 mm tires.
Trying to turn my old touring bike into a randonneur.
